National Office Bearers for 2010-11 installed
7/14/2010

The installation of the National Office Bearers of ISHRAE for the Society year 2010 -2011 was held at the Park Hotel Kolkata on 26th March, at the end of the 1st day of RACON a 2-day technical seminar organised by the Kolkata chapter. It was well attended by members of the ISHRAE BOG present at Kolkata, ISHRAE Kolkata chapter members and many of their family members too.

Preceding the installation, M P Agarwal, outgoing national president took the audience through glimpses of the past year and how ISHRAE made members ‘Feel the Difference’, which was his theme for the year.

Manoj Chakravorti, ISHRAE national past president, and an eminent consultant in the East performed the duties of installation officer.

The office bearers installed were: Pankaj Shah, national president; V Krishnan, president elect; G Rameshkumar, national secretary; Amit Goel, treasurer (in absentia); Sachin Maheshwari, regional director - north; Pallab Kar, regional director - east; Leela Prasad, regional director - south; Chetan Shah, regional director - west; and M P Agarwal, immediate past president.

The installation was followed by an impassioned speech by Pankaj Shah, the newly-installed national president, who shared that ‘ISHRAE Member delight’ would be is main focus during his tenure. He laid out his plans to make the ISHRAE Headquarters financially sound and well administered. He also laid ambitious targets for growth in Membership, new locations for ISHRAE, increased advocacy for the Society as well as many new projects for the year.
